Pastured Meat and Eggs

The animals that live on our farm live outside with lots of open space to forage - eating grasses, weeds, insects, seeds, roots, and our organic produce! This is the way that they were meant to live and it's not only better for them, it's better for all of us.

Animals that are free to live outside have a much higher quality of life, are generally free of disease, and are not plagued with injuries, as they are when kept in crowded conditions in confinement.

We NEVER use antibiotics, hormones, non-organic grains (which are loaded with insecticides, fungicides, etc) or GMOs!!

When animals eat what is best for them to eat, the meat they provide is better for us to eat. Meat from pastured animals is high in the healthy Omega-3 fatty acids, CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), a potent cancer fighter, and Vitamin E, a powerful anti-oxidant. It is also lower in fat and calories.

Pastured animals require an extensive network of fencing and protection from the constant threat of predators. These take a great deal of time and energy to manage, but the end result is worth the work. We hope you think so too.

Our lives are restrained by a natural balance on Earth. We raise our animals with great care and respect, and have a true, deep appreciation for the gifts our animals give to us in return. We provide pasture, sunshine, fresh air, clean water, and care for the animals, they provide sustenance for us, and we return by-products to the Earth, in a continuous, productive cycle.
